Profile and security
Your profile and login settings are personal — unlike most of Settings, nobody needs admin or owner to change their own. Find them under Settings → Your profile and Settings → Login & security.
Your profile
- Avatar — upload a PNG, JPG, WebP or GIF, up to 2 MB. It appears in the header, the sidebar, and anywhere a teammate sees you (assigned conversations, @mentions, activity logs).
- Display name — shown the same places.
- Email — the address you sign in with.
Password
Set a new password from the same page. You need your current password to change it, and the new one must be a reasonable minimum length. You stay signed in on this device after changing it — other devices are unaffected unless you also sign out everywhere (below).
Sign out of every device
Login & security has a Sign out of all devices button. It signs out every session logged into your account — including the one you're using right now — and everyone has to log in again. Use it if you lost a device, left yourself signed in somewhere public, or suspect someone else has your password.
What's not here
Relay doesn't currently offer two-factor authentication (2FA) for login. If your organization requires it, the closest available control is keeping the account's member list tight (see Members and roles) and using Sign out of all devices if a credential is ever at risk.
